Seth Glier Manchester Concert reviews
Disappointed
The concert, unlike Elton John and Billy Joel, was basically two separate concerts with no connection to each other. Nicks makes a great connection with her audience and has an awesome band, unlike Seth Glier show which is more slick and Vegas-like - not the Seth Glier I grew up with but then we are no teenagers anymore, are we? This audience was the rudest I have ever encountered. Oversized people arrive late and take their time to situate themselves into their seats and struggle to find a way to balance their pizza box, giant soda. Food seems to be more important to people than the music. The smell of fast food is an assault to one's senses. Hey people, my 2 seats were over $300.00, a quick dinner before the show $50.00, and parking $13.00. A quick dinner before the show $50.00 and parking $13.00. Why even bother going on tour "together" unless each cannot do a whole show solo? Is it really necessary to talk on your cell phone while there is a concert going on? At almost $400.00, I think I was expecting a good time. They carry on conversations as if they are the only ones there. Maybe I'm a fuddy duddy and should rent a DVD concert and just stay home and shut up!
